There has been a growing concern regarding the use of synthetic drugs, particularly those that are not prescribed by a physician, such as Fentanyl. Fentanyl is a fast-growing epidemic not just in Riverside County but across our Country. It is a dangerous drug that is taking the lives of people at an alarming rate. Fentanyl is a synthetic, man-made opiate that can be produced in a lab or on the streets and is less expensive than other opiates. It is highly addictive and is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine.
