Through a partnership with the California Emerging Technology Fund, Hemet USD families have an opportunity to receive a free Chromebook. Devices will be distributed to participants on a first come first serve basis following the completion of the following:

1. One parent from the household completes a digital access survey available in English and Spanish. 

2. One parent from the household attends a one-time 2- hour technology training. During this training, participants will learn about basic computer terminology, digital citizenship, internet safety, and social media.

3. One parent completes the Chromebook agreement. ( This is provided on-site after the above two prerequisites have been met).
