Director's Message

I am so pleased to introduce myself as the new Director of the Parent Resource Center (PRC). The PRC has been a very special part of our district for the past four years and I am looking forward to further enhancing the service provided to our parents and community. Hemet has a tremendous sense of community and our commitment from the PRC is to ensure our families are supported in our community. The PRC is a resource and information center for families, staff and community members. Our primary goal is to provide parents the support and information they need as they work with the school system to identify and meet their child’s unique learning needs.

Today our community is faced with the collective trauma of being part of a global pandemic. Whether we have been on the frontline of the pandemic, have lost loved ones, have experienced economic hardship or have been bearing witness to these struggles, we are all experiencing this crisis together. The PRC continues to keep our community connected with others, holding educational classes online, assisting parents with the challenges of online learning and supporting families in the transition to hybrid learning. The PRC aims to provide these important first connections, even in a pandemic, for children and their caregivers.

The PRC is a resource and information center for families, staff and community members. The PRC’s mission is to provide parents the support and information they need as they work with the school system to identify and meet their child’s unique learning needs.

The PRC stands ready to assist all of our caregivers and students.
