In partnership with Daybreak, the Wellness and CommunityOutreach Center is hosting a parent workshop on the topic, Supporting Teens with Traumatic Experiences and Trauma.

Parents will: 

• Understand child traumatic stress and know what types of experiences constitute childhood trauma.

• Learn about the impact of trauma on the development and behavior of children.

• Learn when and how to intervene directly in a trauma-sensitive manner.

• Learn about trauma sensitive resource

Interpretation Services are available inSpanish.
