In partnership with Daybreak, the Wellness and Community Outreach Center is hosting a parent workshop on the topic, Supporting Youth with Traumatic Experiences & Trauma.


Parents will: 

• Understand child traumatic stress & what types of experiences constitute trauma.
• Understand the impact of trauma on the development & behavior of youth.
• Learn how to support in a trauma sensitive manner, and learn about trauma sensitive resources.

Interpretation Services are available in Spanish.
