Women's History Month

In honor of Women's history month, we would like to highlight the contributions of Malala Yousafzai.

EXPANDED COVID-19 TESTING IN HEMET

Beginning January 12, 2021, the City of Hemet will expand
its COVID-19 free testing program from one day a week to five days a week. A new state-of-the-art testing bus, provided by the State of California, has the capacity to test over 500 people each day and will be parked at the City Library.

Distance Learning Tutoring

Hemet Unified School District has partnered with Paper to provide tutoring for students in grades 3-12. Paper tutors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are available to assist students in English and Spanish.

Unplug and Play

Good360, Toys for Tots, Santa Claus, Inc., Riverside Office of Education, and Hemet Unified School District's Parent Resource Center have teamed up to distribute toys, books, and games to families in the Hemet area. Riverside University Health System-Behavioral Health MHSA Prevention and Early Intervention is offering a series of Mental Health workshops.

Workforce Assistance Program

County residents who lost employment because of the coronavirus epidemic may receive up to $800 in job loss benefits thanks to a $252,000 state grant received by the Riverside County Workforce Development Division.
