Virtual Parent Classes

The parent support workshops are a place to connect with others and learn healthy habits to maintain emotional well-being through the pandemic. Each meeting provides a combination of support and education for parents. You can expect structured workshops led by a professional facilitator paired with open, informal conversations between parents.

The American Lung Association’s Freedom From Smoking program is a seven-week, proven way to quit smoking. Participants can expect to create a personalized plan to get ready for their quit day, build strategies for managing stress, avoiding weight gain, and staying active during the quit, and after as well as share their experiences with others going through the same journey.

Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)
  • This program helps families manage misbehavior, use positive parenting strategies, and foster positive parent-child relationships.
  • Available to families with children ages 2- 12 years of age

Strengthening Families is a 14-week program for families with children ages 6-11 that helps build family relationships healthy by learning new social skills. The program includes family activities, a game of parents, children's play, and family gatherings. Due to COVID, and in order to establish a social distancing, the class will be recorded and viewed on your phone or computer, and once per week, we will meet through zoom.
